Konnor turned 4 yesterday, boy does time fly by. He loved all the attention focused on him, and of course had to show off. A few days ago he had a friend party at the parks beach. He loved playing in the sand and water with his friends, but of course we forgot the camera. He also enjoyed cake and ice cream and opening presents with some of the parks seasonal volunteers. His favorite present was the easel and paints he got and the Lets Go Fishin game. He couldn't wait to start painting.
Konnor was very proud of his birthday cake that I made. It was my first time ever making a cake with some kind of design. We think it turned out pretty well, except that I couldn't exactly get Lightning McQueen red, no matter how much food coloring I put in it just stayed pink.
And of course we couldn't forget our little cutie Sierra on this post. She always brings a smile to our face.
Awesome job on the cake!!! I'm impressed I could not done that nice of a job on my first cake. Red is tricky....that's why I always buy red. Black is another tricky one to do!!! I can't believe he's four. That means Hailey's birthday is right around the corner. Crazy!
