Gracie has been having some health issues lately, so we decided that she needed to have some tests completed to see if she was having seizures. The whole process preparing for the EEG was work, but we made it through it. After visiting with the Pediatric Neurologist- Clint Nelson, we felt is was the best option to see if anything was really happening. The night before the test, we had to keep Gracie up all night, for all but 4 hours or less. It was a process and we were definitely tired, yet Gracie still didn't fall asleep for the test. We went to the test a 7:00 AM at the Utah Valley Hospital. While there they hooked Gracie's head up with 25 different electrodes. Gracie did great for the probes being put in place because Terri told her they were going here hair, so she didn't mind. She then had to lay perfectly still, they hoped she fall asleep for 30 minutes. She did not want to be there and Terri had to lay next to her in the hospital bed for the entire test to keep her still. Fortunately it showed she had not had any seizures, however it still leaves questioning what is going on with her health right now.
