Family at the Santa Monica Pier and Beach

On the first day of our trip we made our way through Los Angeles to the Santa Monica Pier and beach.  The weather was overcast, but that didn't stop them from playing in the cold water and collecting shells and rock.  We also enjoyed the stroll of the Pier and shopping.  It is a cool place to visit and we all had a lot of fun and got to see the end of Route 66
